    Hello,
I just recently bought a nikon d70. I wanted to start messing around with the "F stop" settings. In the manual it words it in a complicated manner. Could someone here please describe it in a simple way for a noob. And also how do i adjust f stop on my lens. thanks.

Doxx posted this link as a response to a similar query waaaaaaaay back in 2003 - its quite a useful article for beginners...

    http://www.shortcourses.com/using/cameracontrols/chapter1.htm#The%20Aperture%20Controls%20Light%20and%20Depth%20of%20Field

You'll need to scroll down until you reach the section titled: The Aperture Controls Light and Depth of Field...

...the f-stop that you ask about is just another name for Aperture.
