Some first attempts

Well I got my first ever roll developed, nothing extraordinary... no surprise there obviously... anyway I picked out some of the slightly better (ish) ones hoping for some comments/advise/constructive crit. Bear in mind theres been a fair amount of quality loss in scanning.

I agree, some very nice shots here. If I had to say, I would like your 'A Cat's Life' and 'Birdy On Stone' best.

My favorites are the last two. For some reason I'm drawn to portals, and photos of them make me wonder what's on the other side (the places you can't see in the photo). Very interesting.

I really love the one of the cat, very nice tones and great expression! I really like the last one with the bird as well. You've got a nice eye for photography, I look forward to seeing more of your work.

I like the bridge one best and I don't see much loss of quality from the scan that is for sure.
