I like 1 & 3 but I'm having a hard time tell what #3 is.

I like 1 better than 2. The tree has a cool secret hiding place in it that I'd expect to see a troll stepping out of. The angle of 1 features the tree better.

3 is cool, but what is it?

4 is a nice shot. I would have turned her slightly more into the natural light.
5 is a cool shot and a great conversion.

3 is the pod of a dogwood tree. this was shot on the side of my girlfriends pool.

those things suck to have in ur backyard. fluffballs floating all over the place. someitmes theres so much that it looks like it snowed.

#3 is my favorite--the blue water in the background and the isolation of the pod is really cool...has kind of a tropical feel to it, i think

I'll have to say I'm not much on #5. It has really great contrast, and I like the tire, but I think if all the other stuff in the picture wasn't there it would be much more interesting.

And I agree---#1 shows the tree from a better angle

You should def. use #4 as a model again--she has really pretty eyes!

i totally agree with you on #5, unfortunately i took it back when i didnt read up too much on composition and the like.
