some pet shots

Just got done playing with my brand new camera i just got yesterday. Here are some pictures of my dogs, two of my cats (the others are outside some where hiding) and one of my ferrets. Canon Rebel XTI with 18mm-55mm 5.4F lense. please let me know what you think.

(I meant for his nose to be out of focus, i wanted his face to pop more)

biggest problem i see with this photo is the lighting, his left ear seems to flat to me.

i love this picture, he's a cocker spaniel setter mix and very old (around 15), wish i could have gotten rid of the lighter spots in his eyes, any ideas?

out of all of them, the last one is my fave....

in the second to last picture, it seems slightly blurry as well.

as for the spaniel's eyes... all i can suggest is take another picture and clone it?

i think your right now that you mentioned it, the second to last one his fur seems very blurred. I'm sure it doesn't help it was over cast all day today (this was taken outside) and i was in a hurry to take it before he moved. thanks for the comments
