some photos from the Houston Zoo

havent been there in a loooong time. it definitely seems different. i only had a wide-ish lens, so not many close up photos of big animals here, if you are into that type of thing. we were also in a hurry, so i only had time to really take pictures of the reptiles

i'll post more later when photobucket starts working again. sorry if these dont work, i dont know what's up with pb...hm. well, thanks for looking anyway

1, 2 and 3 are my picks here...#2 especially.
I think you'd have a real winner in #3 if you shopped out that tree limb in the BG...great DOF and sharpness. :thumbup:

I tried taking some shot at our local zoo but there are so many fences and things.... I took some through scratched plexiglass but I was able to bring the color back with ps levels.

Very nice....especially the 1st...

I haven't been to the Houston Zoo in forever...I guess 4 years now. Not really forever, but the point is that these are awesome.
