I got a photographic harvest on 24 June, Hong Kong time (GMT+8).
First, I had the chance to see a rainbow in the early morning and managed to take a few photos of it.
Second, I saw the most spectecular sunset and its afterglow so far this year in Hong Kong.
After nearly a week, I am still very happy with the photos I got that day.
Share with you all. Hope you like them.
    So here's the photos:

The tallest building in this photo is more commonly known as the IFC 2, the international finance centre, 97 storeys high.
And it is a rarity to see a rainbow this size in Hong Kong.

The same building at magic hour:

Your feedback may be because of the certain people viewing (lurkers trying to pick up a few tips...try not to take it personally I say :) ) Only 19 views so far ;)

I really love #2. If that boat were 50 yards away it would be fantastic, but believe me I know things can't always go the way we want.

#1 Doesn't feel that interesting to me, not your fault...just nothing pops. The rainbows nice, but still nothing that really makes the picture.

#3 Is a beaut. Not my favorite...but still a sweet picture.

Maybe this will bump your thread a little.

Hmm...Could you show me any example of rainbow that makes a picture? So I could what's missing here.

Actually I cant because I don't have a similar picture to share myself. However, to clarify I just don't think that a natural beauty such as a rainbow can make up for a boring picture. And when I say boring, I don't mean your skills are weak...I just don't like the day time scenery.

Also I usually think of rainbows in the forest, or possibly over the Golden Gate bridge or something. Personal preference here. Still some great shots you captured though.

I love all of the shots, my favorite is #2 thought. I love the city lights.
