Some pics near the family cottage

A few pics from walking around the cottage area yesterday

1) The beach

2) Tracks next to the beach

3) Stairs to a neighbours cottage.

I tried Wally's B&W action in photoshop on this last one, adding a sepia mask with reduced opacity. I also threw in some film grain to try to give it more of an erie/older feel.

Anywho, let me know what you think.

I think a little cropping is in order for number 3, that shot has great potential.

What were you thinking of for the crop? I always have a hard time deciding on where to crop.

Great sky in those first two -- looks like you had some excellent weather! I like that second pic -- something about it is very appealing to me. The third, I agree, needs cropped... not sure where, though, since I do like the tracks on the bottom... maybe just take off some of the trees at the top?
