Both of these were taken just randomly as snapshots, however came out as so much more.

the one thing that irks me is the DOF on the far end of the face of both images. Less on the second, more on the first. Mainly because on the first, part of her eye is out of focus and blurry, which just strikes me as off (might of been your intent, so its all good).

I much prefer the richness of the colours of the red toned image more than the BW.

It was my intent... But I agree that I like the color image better.

I like the color image the best... but the crop of the bw.

#3 is the winner for me. Looks good.

Honestly, #1 & 2 still look like snapshots to me... They just have a frame around them now.

It was in my room with fairly bad lighting, and a maroon wall, and a red pillow. So it naturally looked on the warm side.
