    I discovered this new place (Gilbert Water Ranch) for bird photography today. There is a group of wastewater reclamation ponds in
    Gilbert, AZ (a bit East of Phoenix). The community has turned it into a park (it is still used for its intended purpose) and all sorts
    of birds (more than 200 species have been reported) hang out there (as do zillions of feral cats).

    It sure is, and it's easy to get to. It's not something I expected to find here in the desert. I look forward to going back at dawn when I have some time.
