I like that sight, too. Actually I was out photographing barns, sheds and stables at the time (first tour with that subject in mind ever it was), but then I saw it growing like this over the edge of a stone wall, reaching out into the sun, while the rest was in the shadow, and I took the photo. Just like that ... snapshot-like, really.

I think it was struggling for light, that's why it grew away from the wall in this peculiar shape.
