Sony DLSR owners, What camera model do you use for your events ?

I was just wondering whats a good model Sony DSLR camera to use for events,Which one do you use ?

Indoor events? Outdoor events? Slow events like weddings or fast events like car races?

Lenses are usually much more important than camera bodies when shooting events.

so do you think the 390 would do ? or do i have to bump up to the 500 ?

depend on what you are taking really. if you are taking picture of a fast sport i would go with the A500/550

don't use a Sony, but if I had one, i'll use the A900 since I would mostly be doing landscape and people, and not sports / wildlife or action.

Sony A700 - but don't do too much indoor events
For the ones I have, the A700 worked just fine (mainly indoor sports competitions, one fashion show and a few theatrical performances)

how about the a500 ? does it work for indoor shooting ? how about outdoor?

I use an a200 for indoor and out. Lenses are the key. Can see samples on my site SkooterMedia.com. The a500 should be just fine.
