some arsehole keeps attacking my photoblog and blog with spam in my comments. im obviously not using the MT blacklist thing properly because ive gotten like 64 in one hit and then 53 in another.

im going insane!!!! i dont know how to stop these idiots!!!!!!!!!!

Can you make it so you need a password to leave comments? The person has to email you to as for the password. Its a pain, but spamers wont take the time to do that.

I wouldn't have a clue how to stop this moron either, but surely someone from there can tell you exactly what steps to take.

Or how about instead of a comments page, just leave your email and ask people to email you comments?

Manda, are there urls in the comments? If so, you might be able to stop it if it is a bot. Not really sure how you can achieve that in MT though.

you could wire the email with a subject tag and the rest and have your email prog dump the rest of the spammers. there are several ways to get around the email spam issue
