I assume you nature lovers can handle the dark side. Crab spiders are pretty tough customers. They hide in flowers and often prey on bees and hornets.

As much as I REALLY hate spiders, those are some FANTASTIC photographs! Great job!
 
A photo series with rising tension! Well done!
We get taken closer and closer to the crab spider!
And the bees and even HORNETS have no means to fight them?
A sting, for that matter???

ohgod i hate how the spider gets bigger and bigger D: (not in a bad way) aahhhh i feel scared right now

the lighting and shadows is actually kind of dramatic and makes it even scarier =O
 
Great series... I love spiders and seeing them in action is even better!!

The first one is a little out of focus though, but it still gets the point across.
 
i love the crab spiders i've been trying to get ahold of some to keep =)
 
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I rotated the last two. Now you can really see where the "crab spider" name originated.
