I was in Washington state when I took these. My Uncle told me about this spider that lives on a little flower in his backyard and how it would wait and catch the bees that lived nearby. Everytime I braught the camera up to take the picture it would hide under the flower pedals but I eventually I got a few decent shots. By the way, does anyone know what kind of spider this is?

    Crab Spider!
    Great shots.
Look a few threads down for my spider series where I found a pure chite crab spider!

Very nicely composed. I believe your spider is Misumena vatia, a species of crab or flower spiders.
