lighting from a door to her right indeed...

she wanted to see how a retouched image of her would look, so she told me to take a photo of her outside... when she was about to get up from a chair next to the door I took this photo quickly

I took this one of her friend outside a bit later, it seems to be a bit better =)

As stated above the lighting kills your first photo, as far as the second, two things that get me are to much reflection in her eyes and you might want to clone out the chair frame behind her it is very distracting. Other than that a nice shot.
