My workshop series are limited to six up to eight participants to ensure personalized attention.
Our next one will be in Spring 2010. We booked the first one in the series already. Now we are open to book few more.
Usually the participants assemble at my studio at 9.30am. In April we are doing a series of on-location live model workshops.
Each participant gets a one hour photo shoot in a fully equipped studio.
The rest of the participants stay behind an invisible line and observe.
NO CAMERAS are allowed for the spectators. Otherwise we try to keep quiet, watch, learn.
Before lunch we usually schedule 3 participants if the total of participation is 6 people. Then an hour lunch break.
Everyone brings their own lunch, or we can can order food and share the costs. I offer a bottle of white and red wine.
After lunch, we resume with the rest of the photographers.
After the completion of workshop (within 10 days), participants choose one image to be printed (11"x17") .
The final event (20 days after the workshop) is a evening of image critiques. Participants choose 10 edited images which are projected for a group discussion. A friendly glass of wine helps the discussion/critique process. Since this is a learning experience, be ready to hear constructive criticism from me.
We only hire top models. The model signs a "model release" for each participant. You will have full rights of your images, to enter competitions, exhibit, make slide shows or sell.
Although sometimes we hire a model to learn how to photograph artistic nudes, please note that pornography is NOT tolerated.
The participation cost per person is $170.00 for a group of 6 participants.
