    Isn't all the promise that is in spring ever so lovely? All the "baby leaves", buds, well - erm - what actually IS it we're seeing in the fifth and sixth photo, Peter?

    Pity, DOF is so shallow in the last...

    The 5th and 6th photos are some kind of moss. It grows only and inch or so high. These were taken with extension tubes, so there is almost zero DOF to work with.
