Spring is here! Lots of color!

Alright you guys who don't like color pop... stay clear!

Here's a bunch of new ones for me. Thanks in advance. They were all taken with my 50mm at about 2.8. Trying to find a sweet spot for creamy DOFs. Not sure if this is the aperture for me... like it quite a bit but almost prefer shooting wide open! Anyway, CC welcome but mostly just sharing.

Lots of color, lots of contrast. They way I like it!

If you're looking for creamy DOF, f/2 might be more like it, but than again you can always get the 'cream-machine' aka. Nikkor 85mm f/1.4.

That's my next lens. Although a wider prime is tempting. We'll see... I'll try try f/2, thanks!

shots one and two were at f/1.8, shot 3 at 2.8, and shot for at 3.2.

the second shot has some great looking bokeh, it was the first thing I noticed.

Wide open seems to work well for me... although its easy to miss your focus points.

sw1tchfx- I tried shooting at f/2 the other day and really like the DOF I'm getting with it so thank you for suggesting it! Here is a photo at that f stop. Quite creamy, I think.
