Star trails. C&C ...sigh.

With all the animosity to C&C posts I've seen today I'm hesitant to do this, but oh well.
If anyone has any good astro tips, please share.

i know this is going to sound really weird...but the stars look out of focus....

that being said, i think you need a wider angle to get more forground and more stars in the picture. Also it would help to use a longer exposure if you could

Really? The lens was set at infinity. Maybe it's the noise blurring the edges.
