Went out last night to shoot some star trails in the park. There's nothing like setting out a beach towel and reading a book under the stars while the camera snaps away and the coyotes hunt mice and rabbits in the brush.

I posted up a single frame from the sequence used to make this image. The light on the tree is from someones high beams sweeping across the desert as they passed behind me.

I shot these at iso 1600, f/3.2 for 30 seconds each. I merged them in Ps using the "lighten" blend mode, leaving the bottom one at normal.
