Hello everyone,
I'm interested in shooting star trails with my canon 80D. I'm using a tamron 17-50 SP f/2.8 at 17mm, iso 800, 25-30s shutter speed, mf to infinity, tungsten wb & a 2s self timer. I have a few questions:
1) what is the typical shutter speed to be used for star trails if using stacking technique?
2) can the built-in intervalometer be used? if yes then what interval limits and how many shots should be enough for a good star trail?
3) i observed a long gap between shutter closing and shutter opening. how can i reduce or eliminate this lag?
