Starling Flock, AMAZING to see!!

    Witnessed a Starling Flock the other day on a visit to Slimbridge. Vert impressive to see although I was shooting through very dirty glass from a lookout tower and the light was pretty dire as they only appeared just after the sun went below the horizon. Amazing to see though!!

    This one isn't as sharp, light levels were very low here...!!

    Thats amazing that you were able to catch a flock of birds like that. I see that alot but never would have my camera ready fast enough to take a photo.

    Good captures. I especially like the second, purple-toned one with the different shades of purple and the silhouetted tree. Very cool.

    What an interesting scene to witness!
    And photograph!!
    Reminds me of the large flock of cranes I photographed on 28 Nov - but light was so bad, my photos all look ... cr** ... erm: bloopery.

    Very impressive, I find the first one more interesting because of the sharpness and movements of the birds, more dynamic than the static shot of the second.
