With a lake like that, I couldn't imagine getting anything less than several-hundred great photos.
1 - I would have off-centered the middle of the log, remember the rule of thirds.

2 - a much better version of the first shot,

3 - would be more dynamic if brightened a bit, and had some fill-light for the trees. Horizon needs leveled.
