Steep Rock, Manitoba

I spent part of the long weekend in Steep Rock, Manitoba (yeah, today was a holiday here). It's a nice little hamlet washed by the waters of Lake Manitoba. The dreamy blue-green colour of the water is due to the limestone.

It's Lake Manitoba... I haven't seen much of Lake Winnipeg, but I do know that the colour of its water is not nearly as beautiful as this one...
