Heh welcome to the pains of stacking - your background is going insane!
I've had the same - sadly it can all be down to a single bad or missplaced frame:
if you can try to take out frames (ie not inlcude them when you make the stack) and see if that solves things. Also double check that they are all in the right order. After that its a pain to deal with. If you're using combineZP try to use the Do all stack command - sometimes one of the other stacking methods might give results that are a bit better
eg same stack data, but a different stacking method - Pyramid Weighted Average Pyramid Weighted Average a on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
not as highly detailed as the first, but a more usable result.
The other option is to break out photoshop tools and start to edit and blur/remove the problems from the shot
Why yes, yes it is.......I was waiting for it...........I can get the background a little cleaned up, but the edges of the petels are killing me!.......MIke
