On a hiking trip I stumbled along these mushrooms. I have never seen anything like them. I think they are Bell Mushrooms, but if I am incorrect, please tell me! C&C too! =)

The background kills the image IMO.

If you look half of the way down the mushrooms on the right you see a face=cool!

Not mushrooms, but Indian Pipe (Monotropa uniflora).

Indian pipe is interesting because it is one of the few plants that does not use chlorophyll to produce carbohydrates. It lives in a symbiotic relationship with some specific fungi which in turn have a symbiotic relationship with the roots of the surrounding trees.

Interesting shot, but you needed to be down lower and use a faster aperture.

My take on Indian Pipe.

So a mushroom walks into the bar. Says to the bartender "Gimme a beer." Bartender says "We don't serve your kind here." The mushroom replies "Why not? I'm a fungi."
