Went to a live concert on the beach today. Band is called Stranger, there a very cool reggae infused jazz band. Took a bunch of pics. Here are a few of them up for C&C.

    thank you!

and yes these shots were with my new 5D. On this shoot I also had my rebel xs as a backup body just for fun to see the difference....oh man wat a BIG difference!!!! When I picked up my rebel I was like wow its soo frickin light! and when I looked thru the viewfinder I could immadaitey tell the differne between a crop and full frame. Full frame makes a world of a difference! I;m so glad I made the jump!

full frame is just that awesome I"m lovin it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are cool, not much character in the photos themselves.

In #1, #3 and the next post, the mics are very distracting. I know there is not much you can do, maybe edit them out if you can.
I think #1 would be a winner if you could get the mics out.

ya it was extremely hard not to get a mic in the shot. there were about 7 performers on stage and a minefield of mics. but I did my best.

thanks for the critique. much appreciated.

Could be just me, but they seem a little over-sharpened. Maybe it's the compression used to post?
