    i like the idea but the pickguard is weighing heavy on the top for me.

    I agree with JonMikal, I like the idea a lot, perhaps try some different angles?

    Maybe some light or an angle showing the two strings across the pick guard.

    ino what you mean about the pickguard!! it didnt look so bad in colour, but in voulour it didnt have this overall effect. i think it was kind of a fluky shot really as it was balancing on my knee and i took about 15 photos all of which wer terrible lighting except for this really. i dont remember if i used a flash or not

    i like it alot!! it looks as if you've got some kinda spot light in the middle of it.

    I like it as well but am also bothered by the pick-guard. Maybe you could do it from the other side and have the pick-guard on the bottom? It would give better texture on the wood of the guitar I think. Nice shot though.
