strip softbox

Hello,

I just got a 3' strip softbox and would like to know the best ways to use it. So far I have used it as a main light, close to my subject, and have liked how it is a very focused light source and falls off very fast. (I position is more side to side than up and down)

I realize it would be a good hair light for a group. And if I got a second one, it would be good for side lighting.

I am open to any other ideas.

Side lighting is definately what it's about. The strip box is mainly used to light a person, head to toe. You can use it above somebody if they are laying down for a neat effect as well. Keep experimenting and see what you can come up with.
