Striving for life.

I was out taking some pictures today... And just saw this bit of wild flowers coming from the concrete. I've always been amazed at how things strive for life sometimes.

I love the angle. Were you laying on the ground to shoot this? Most people I know would just stand straight up and take a boring shot from overhead. Hahah. Great shot.

Did most of the adjustments in Lightroom.. then a fine tune up in CS3 with a little burning here and there.

I was sitting on the ground.. real hunched over to get the shot.. lol.

Is the focus is just tiny bit off subject, IMO seem to be more on the low stems of the flowers that the petals, or is it down sizing for the net

IMO The composition, angle and lighting are good and work well together

Well with the D40.. rather than a Focus point.. You have a focus square.. heh.. So, I places said square at the flowers and took the picture... Sometimes it varies a little on what is in focus in that square.. heh.
