AND, if it is a good deal, would it work with my Canon Rebel XS?

Looks like a pretty fair deal. You might be able to find the individual pieces cheaper, but you probably save a lot on shipping by getting it all together.

Yes, that should work just find with any camera that has a hot shoe, which the Rebel XS does.

It's a pretty basic kit, in that is has the cheapest option for radio triggers and fairly basic flash units...but that doesn't mean it's going to be easy to get great results right away. You (or anyone) will have to have some idea about what they are doing...how to position and adjust the light to get what you want etc.

It will certainly give you what you need to get started.
