Well still trying to get the hang of this strobing lark. Whilst I have a second speed light and light modifiers i feel I needed to keep practising with one...for the time being.
Just a few more of the little.
Nikon d7200

35mm 1.8 nikkor
Nikkor sb700 with rogue one soft box
Settings should be attached to the photos as always C & C is highly appreciated and welcomed.

Good lighting you have achieved in these! These are all very good family photos of your child. The quality of the lighting, and the direction of the lighting on the first four photos is very good. The last shot is not quite the same lighting, but it's still better than average lighting. In the first three, the Rogue modifier does a fantastic job of softening the light, and yet, there's also enough shadowing created to give strong shape/dimension clues.

Thanks, those rogue modifiers do a really good job considering their size and portability. Hoping to play around with a two light set up in the coming weeks once I can find a bit of time

May the journey continue
