It's been a while since I posted. I have still been lurking and taking photos, though. A friend and I have decided to do a Project 52. (one photo a week). I'm not quite ambitious enough for a 365; kudos to those of you who are. Here is my week one photo. C&C is appreciated. My own C&C is I'd like to have something lighting the beers from behind. I tried with a million candlepower flashlight, but it just didn't look right. Another flash someday. Thanks for looking.

I think it looks pretty good. Good choice of beer as well. Do you guys have a theme each week, or just the assignment to shoot something? I did a monthly project w/ a buddy and even that became cumbersome at times. More power to you. Good shot though. I really don't have a criticism. Good focus, good lighting and nice DoF.

That looks pretty good to me where did you have the flash located at?

Thanks! We don't have any themes yet. We've talked about it and will probably do some from time to time.

The flash was a SB-600 high camera right shot through an umbrella, triggered with Cactus V4's. There was a DIY aluminum foil reflector camera left.

Awesome shot. However, a little too effective...... I'm thirsty now.
