Try croppin out the actual bicycle so that the entire image is the shadow on the sand. I like the way that most of the image is light and dark of the same color and the sand acts like a textured paper.
 
I with Deb as far as the bike is concerned but I really like the contrast and colours here. and the details on the sand
 
:idea: I just thought of another idea.
I gather the shadow of the person on the right is you taking the photo.
You could pull the center pole with camera mount out of a tripod and replace a bicycle seat with that camera mount with the camera; then put it on time exposure and get well out of the way and you will get the long shadows of two bicycles.
You could either Photoshop out the camera shadow, or just stand in its way like as though you are the shadow of another cyclist rather than the photographer.
It is worth playing around with because I love the sandy beach textures.
