I took this on Sunday 23rd in Luss , on Loch Lomond.
8 secs, f/22 polarizer and ND to lengthen the exposure and smooth the water.
Canon Digital Rebel and 18-55mm EF-S lens at 18mm

Gorgeous shot mate. Love the colours. If it were mine, I would darken it just a smidge (not sure why, I just reckon it would look better) - but that's just a personal taste thing. Well done.

Those colours will always and forever capture us, won't they? To see something like this will always make us stop and stay and look in awe!
I wish I could see this one on a high resolution monitor, with a good graphic card... soon I'll have that luxury here at home, too, and then I can also say some more about the photos here.

    Thanks guys
This image is cropped from full size of 3072 x 2048 on my Digital Rebel. There was more sky and more water but it looks better as a panoramic.
I tried darkening it down in Photoshop using the levels. It really darkens the hills to black silhuoettes and darkens the blues in the sky nicely. However it just makes the whole image a bit too dark i think because the corners darken more than the rest.....good shout though

Beautiful, brings back memories of when I lived in a place called Helensburgh.

Well done with the crop. Colors are brilliant. I don't really have anything to critique. Nice capture and presentation!
