    Sunrises are just an unbeatably wonderful time of the day and both your photos prove it once again!!!
    The mist in the first is really something special, I think!
    And clouds of the kind as shown in 2, lit from below by the yet not quite risen sun are fascinating, too.

    the moral of this story, sometimes a GOOD point and shoot can do wonders -- shot with a leica c1

    Well, a "point and shoot" called "Leica" ... that must be SOME point and shoot then!!!!!!

    Very nice. Really cool captures. My first trip to Memphis, all I had was a littel 2.0 megapixel camera, with no zoom. Got some of the coolest pics.
    Nicely done memphis.
