Sunset on Big Island

Taken on a drive down Crater Drive on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Not your typical orange sunset shot but some great light.

Very pretty. It's so heavenly. I love the clouds and the light. It's a little dark, but I'm not sure if it was my eyes playing tricks on me since your site is so dark.

Nice - hard to ge that balanced, I agree it seems a little dark (some foreground detail would have been nice). But the contrast range looks like it was just too much to get both the light and the darkness with any detail in both, so you opted for the light - good choice!

Ah!
I had seen this when I went through your entire Hawaii-album earlier today and thought "Why is he not posting this one!?!?!?"
Finally you ARE posting it ... it is so worth being posted. The multitude of sunrays shining through the clouds is so well captured.
