Just posted this in the critique gallery and thought I should post it here for everyone to see. I'm obviously new to the forums and I hope to stay active here. This is my first picture taken to be posted on the net. Hopefully you all like it. I took it Saturday evening.

you may want to resize that full version becuase the small thumbnail one is too small to see, but the big one is too big to see... :)

looks like a really nice sunset from what i can see though.

Ahhh, true. Yeah, my camera res is 2000somethingx1000something. Guess I should resize it... I will when I get home. Thanks. :)

I think it's a great shot. Ideally you may have perhaps used a neutral grad on the sky to bring out a little more detail in the bottom blackness, but hey this isn't the critique-gallery and I think it's great shot. Well done.

Thanks John. I had to use Photoshop 7 to color in the houses...I don't think my camera does the stuff you're talking about, although I could be lost because I'm new to the digital photography category. I have an HP camera, with a 15x zoom, and it's a 3.2 MP. It's model is the Photosmart 735, not sure if that tells you anything on if it does the blackness or not. Thanks for the constructive criticism. :)
