Sunset

Any comments, I know the foreground isn't very exciting but it was my first attempt at a sunset!

Try underexposing by -1 stop. I think you will like the way it makes the clouds, and sunlight look. I like the composition, and the ratio of sky to foreground looks about right.

The under-exposure will add to the saturation of the colors in the sky and it will make the silouette darker.

Next time you might try putting the Sun off the the side so it is only 1/3 of the way into the image, and take several shots all the way through and after sunset.
