This is my first post I have been lurking around trying to learn as much as possible and wanted to see what you guys think of one of my photos I shot last week.
This was taken off the deck of my parents house in oregon. It was cropped and I adjusted the levels with gimp.

Sunrises and sets needs an interesting element to make them work better. Find something to hang that beautiful sky over. A bridge, a dock, a tractor. Anything to give it some interest.

Hey Sefro, welcome to the forum.

What a beautiful sight that sky is! As cosmonaut suggests, it adds interest if you can have some other element in the shot, but I know from personal experience that it's not always possible.

I'm glad you shared this one with us...the clouds are really dramatic, and the colours very striking. I look forward to seeing more posts from you.
