Swans

    It rained earlier whilst we were talking a walk around a local lake.

    Some swans were out in force, about five or six of them, and they were wet and diving for some grub! Took some close ups and thought, of course, i'd share :)

    How on earth did you manage to get Photo 3???
    Such a close-up of a swan. And even if this is a crop, which I think it is, it still is sooo crisp. Amazing.
    I like each and every one of them, but 2 and 3 just blow me over.

    Many thanks LaFoto. I was very close to them - took my life into my own hands :eek: lol - the photos were taken with a Canon 20D and 17-40L and 100-400L lens combinations and so with the 100-400L I did manage to get back abit before they hissed and lunged at me!

    i like #'s 4 & 5.. i like the drop hitting the water in the 4th one & i like the drop falling off the swans nose in the 5th on..awsome series and cool swans
