    First shot I've ever posted that was taken with my new Nikon D80 with the 18-135mm lens... Mostly to see what I can do with this set up :)

    your are apparently not afraid to get in contact with the ground ... many people often forget about this (very nice) perspective .. myself included ;)

    Welcome to tpf. Great lighting, and nice point of view as well. One other thing too is you have a nice DOF here too. great work!

    the light and the tones are beautiful, nice comp too. i almost think your DOF is too narrow, with the blurred twigs in the front left corner causing a distraction to my eye. great shot though. can't wait to see what comes next from your new setup. :thumbup:

    Thanks all :) I should have an opportunity to test my new set up in a totally different setting tomorrow night. One thing's for sure. I'm gonna get a 50mm 1,8 sometime in the near future (thinking Xmas).
