Taking photos of 2.5" x 2.5" granite samples

I have some marble and granite samples, each is about 2.5" x 2.5" and would like to include them in a print and online catalog. Is it possible to get high quality photographs of them?

Try the Yellow Pages and look for photographers who specialize in product photography, or call either Lens & Shutter or Kerrisdale and ask for some recommendations.
