    The world's largest...

    baseball bat...
    [​IMG]
    at the Louisville Slugger Museum...
    [​IMG]
    AKA The Hillerich & Bradsby Company...
    [​IMG]
    which features some really neat brickwork...
    [​IMG]
    and sidewalks...
    [​IMG]
    and even another local biz that took off on the idea.
    [​IMG]
    The raw wood as it's cut...
    [​IMG]
    and the blanks before they are turned...
    [​IMG]
    have been used by such American Icons as Ted Williams...
    [​IMG]
    and some become historic memoribilia such as the Babe's 60th home run bat, which interestly had a notch carved in the knob for each homer hit with it...

    and while there Casey and Mickey sought me out for some advice :lol: .

    A great day trip for anyone who is within close range of Louisville, Ky.
