Tallcorn Towers

    In central Iowa you could find an old brick building named the Tallcorn Towers, that is also festooned with modern mobil phone tranceivers because it's the tallest building for miles.

    For being tallest the building is named appropriately :)

    Good shot, I like the contrast :thumbup:

    Hi,

    I love the framing and subject matter, the contrast looks good but there is something artificial or overly digitised about this image.

    The clarity of the cars in the foreground doesn't match the buildings and my eye is constantly being drawn to the 3 cars in the centre bottom. I can't tell from the size here whether this is because of compression or a slight HDR affect, I'm leaning towards the latter though.

    Thanks Steve,

    I suspect it's from selective sharpening. The selective sharpening was an attempt to create a sense of depth and separation.
