Tamron 24-70mm - Could it be hitting my mirror?

I just got a new Tamron 24-70mm. When I take pictures with it I see something weird when looking through viewfinder. When I push the shutter, the mirror goes up, it takes picture(picture seems to be okay) however when the mirror comes back down the image in the viewfinder shakes a bit.

It almost seems like the mirror isnt settling in to place. I put my 50mm back on and it works fine. I did use it for a day and didn't notice this. But after the 50mm looked good I put the tamron back on and it did it again. I did look at the back of the lens and nothing looked out of place.

I had a Tamron 17-50 that did that. It was the VC

My 24-70 does the same thing sometimes. It may do it all the time but I've stopped noticing it. It is the vc system doing what it does.
