I don't know if it's a good deal but I bought my camera and 2 lenses from cameta camera - thats who auctioning the lens. It's a store in NY I believe. I bought everything new from them and was happy. Not sure if this helps you

Looks like the Sigma is the better of the 2.

I'd buy a Sigma or a Tokina before I ever wasted money on a Tamron. But......that's just me.
