Anybody used one? I bought one in like new condition, also with a 2x flat field tele-converter and it looks pretty impressive. The guy that sold it told me he bought it many years ago for macro work.

Anyone have any good or bad words about this baby?

Oh yes, it came 'attached' to a black Rollei SL35 E in mint condition. I'm trying to determine if I'll keep the bugger or put it up for sale on Ebay.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

tamron's 90mm 2.5 is basically the older manual version of the companies popular AF 90mm 2.8 macro lens. The AF lens as well as your manual lens have consistently good optical performance from what i've seen. I think you made a good purchase, I would definitely use it. The 2x teleconverter will probably take away from its optical quality, though.
