    Hi All,

I am new to Digital photography but i have always been intersted in it. After a lot of internet time, reading reviews etc for the Canon EOS 400D which I decided to aquire do to the promotion price I managed to obtain, I now am looking for a decent lense that for the time being will provide me with a "walk a round" capacity.
    I have seen the TAMRON
AF18-250mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) Can anyone give me any feedback on this lense as I cannot find any practical reviews on this anywhere.

    Cheers
    Daracle

Photozone.de have reviewed the Tamron 18-250 in Canon mount and Nikon.

Looks surprisingly decent for a 13x zoom. But don't expect it to be too impressive at either 18mm (where distortion is going to be bad) or 250mm. At some of the more moderate focal lengths in between, it should be ok.

Personally I would rather cover this range in two or more lenses but I can see the appeal of just having one.
