tele lens and metering

i was just wandering, in practical, what do you use 200mm zoom for? when should I use 3d metering, centre-weighted and spot metering??

Sports or portraiture.

And the metering depends entirely on what you are shooting. For sports I use spot metering or center weighted. For portraits I use center weighted or matrix for close ups.

well the 200mm you can use for a wide variety of reasons anything that you would like to get in closer on that is farther away would i guess be the best way to explain but anyways about the metering read this article may help
